دولت عراق در بیم و هراس قرارداد امنیتی با آمریکا

دولت عراق در بیم و هراس ناشی از بحث پارلمان آن کشور درباره‌ی توافق امنیتی با آمریکا به سر می‌برد. هوشیار زیباری، وزیر خارجه عراق می‌گوید اگر این توافق‌نامه آنچنانکه پیش‌بینی شده تا یک هفته‌ی دیگر به تصویب پارلمان نرسد، دولت عراق چاره‌ای جز درخواست کمک از شورای امنیت ندارد.

پیش‌نویس توافق‌نامه یکشنبه‌ی گذشته در کابینه‌ی عراق تصویب شد و دیروز (دوشنبه ۱۷ نوامبر) به امضای هوشیار زیباری وزیر خارجه‌ی عراق و رایان کروکر، سفیر ایالات متحده‌ی آمریکا در عراق رسید.

این توافق‌‏نامه‌‏ به نیروهای آمریکایی اجازه می‌‏دهد سه سال دیگر در  عراق حضور داشته باشند. ارتش آمریکا هم‌اکنون ۱۵۰ هزار نفر نیرو در عراق دارد. دولت آمریکا محتاطانه امیدوار است که توافق‌نامه مورد بحث به تایید پارلمان عراق برسد. دانا پرینو، ادامه مطلب …

اقتصاد ایران زیر ضربات بحران مالی جهانی

کمتر از سه هفته پس از خوشحالی برخی مقام‌های جمهوری اسلامی ایران از بحران مالی جهانی و توصیف آن به عنوان “گوشمالی خدا” برای آمریکا و دیگر کشورهای غربی، در حال دست و پنجه نرم‌کردن با پیامدهای بحران مالی در جهان است. شاخص بورس تهران در حال سقوط است و قیمت نفت ایران به حدود ۵۷ دلار رسیده، در حالی که بودجه‌ی سال جاری براساس نفت بشکه‌ای ۸۰ دلار تنظیم شده است. احمدی‌نژاد دستور تشکیل کارگروه بحران داده است.
